Ms. Amy Eger

Adjunct Faculty

Amy Eger has been working as an Instructional Designer for roughly 15 years. She has also taught approximately 25-30 courses in all modalities.

Amy earned a bachelors degree in Communications Media and Theater in 1998 and a masters degree in Adult Education and Communications Technology in 2000 both from Indiana University of PA. While attending IUP, Ms. Eger received the Merle Klingensmith Award given to the most outstanding graduate student in the field of Instructional Design. Amy is currently attending Nova Southeastern University and will earn her doctorate degree in Instructional Technology and Distance Education

Amy moved back into the Orlando area after spending 5 years living and working in Pittsburgh, PA. While in Pittsburgh (her hometown), Amy was employed by various school and also worked for Quality Matters. She has attended many professional conferences including Syllabus, FETC, Blackboard, Sloan-C and various others in the field. She is a member of the Florida Distance Learning Consortium, ASTD and participated in several teaching and learning grant programs.


In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending her free time with her children Charlotte Rose (5) and J-Max (4). I also enjoy going to Pirate and Steelers games, reading James Patterson books and travel. Her favorite places to go include Las Vegas, New York City, Orlando, Miami, Cancun and Myrtle Beach. She is also very involved in All-Star Cheerleading.
