Dr. Althea Lynn Sukalo

I received my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Delaware, a Masters degree in Reading from the University of Maryland and my Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.
I have also taken courses in the Masters of Liberal Studies program at Rollins College and I have completed 15 hours of a second Masters degree at the University of South Florida. For the past ten years I taught AP Literature and IB Language and Literature for 11th and 12th grade students,and I am now teaching 8th grade honors Language Arts. I taught in the English Department at Southeastern University. It is a privilege to teach at Valencia College. Our students are wonderful and amazing!!!
