Ms Deborah Kirkwood
Ms. Kirkwood earned her Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree at the University of Central Florida in Communication. She earned Post Graduate Certificates in Human Resources and Mediation from Rollins College. Ms. Kirkwood was formerly in health care administration: both private practice and long term care, inpatient and adult day care.
Ms. Kirkwood has taught Speech, Advertising, Public Relations, and Business and Professional Communication.
Professor Kirkwood has a passion for education. She believes communication is an essential element of our lives that is too often taken for granted and public speaking is a skill that everyone can master with effort and
encouragement.

SPEECH: The Fundamentals of Speech: a course designed to teach the principles of oral communication; with emphasis on gathering and organizing appropriate supporting materials, preparing and delivering speeches in an extemporaneous format; as well as theory to support the subject matter in depth.
