Dr. Gabriel Fennmore-Anderson

20 years academic experience as both an administrator and professor of visual media in University, Community College, and K-12 Public/Private School settings. I have worked within Departments of Art, Education, Humanities, and Graphic Communications. My current research is interdisciplinary in nature; combining traditional studio media, instructional and learning technologies, and program/curriculum development within the arts. As a working artist, I have taught most all levels of 2-Dimensional & 3-Dimensional studio arts such as Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Photography, and Printmaking; while also instructing introductory seminar courses for both art majors and non-art majors. These courses include: Art History, Art Appreciation, Contemporary Art Forms, Visual Literacy/Communications, and Seeing and Knowing Art. I have also published research regarding contemporary Art Criticism and Aesthetics.
