Prof. Sensei Frazier
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Justus attended St. Pius V Catholic School from first to sixth grades, public school from seventh to ninth grades, and Stanton College Preparatory School from tenth to twelfth grade.
Justus graduated and was accepted into Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia where he studied mathematics, physics, and music. After graduating with a B.S. in Mathematics, he attended Georgia State University and gained his teaching certification.
Moving back to Florida, Justus worked as a math instructor for Lake Howell High School in Seminole County for seven years. While there, he initiated the successful Applied Math program (an amalgamation of math and real-world application through physics experiments), assisted in the development of standardized testing for the State of Florida and created a new musical pep rally theme song.
While teaching at Lake Howell High School, Justus earned his Master's degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of Central Florida with his thesis in The Application of Numerical Methods to Systems of Differential Equations. Justus' work is published at U.C.F. as apart of the library reference material, 1997.
In the fall of 1997, Justus became a professor of mathematics at Valencia Community College of Orlando. He is currently the subject-chair for Pre-Calculus and Business Calculus of the West Campus.
