Mabel Machin Bio:
Mabel is a CPA (1996-present-FL and WA), CGMA designation and Digital Professor Designation (QM). Graduate Accounting degree (MPA), Seattle University (WA), PHD-project candidate (2006) and future PHD-Acc. candidate. Mabel’s has a combined experience of 19 years in accountant and education areas: multinational/multicurrency Consolidated Financial Statements (FSA)/Analysis/Publication, multistate payroll supervision, auditing procedures, cost accounting, Tax/IRS matters, IT/AIS duties and Corp. Finance. Tenured faculty-Edmonds College-WA, MBA faculty at Florida Tech (FIT-Orlando/Lockheed Martin), Tenured-Faculty at Valencia College (VC-OSC) and Dept. head for Bus/Acg (VC-OSC). Dept. head experience: supervise faculty, guidance, revise/improve/create new curriculum and programs, assessments coordinator, Curriculum Comm. member, ALPFA Club Founder/Faculty advisor, Faculty Senate member-at-large, Fac.Internship supervisor (FIS) and AICPA-PcEEC committee member. Prof. Memberships include: AICPA, ALPFA, AAA, CMA, TACTYC and FAAE. Speaking engagements/publications includes: TACTYC, CMA, FAAE and Cengage/McGraw-Hill/Pearson contributions.
