Ms. Nuria Curras

Helping students and researchers find the best information is my number one passion. I've been a reference librarian for over 5 years, spending most of them working at Valencia Community College (West & Winter Park Campus) and University of Central Florida. I am currently the UCF Regional Campus Librarian at Valencia College - West.


I hold a Masters degree in Library & Information Science from University of South Florida and have an undergraduate degree in General Communications from the University of Sacred Heart, San Juan, Puerto Rico. I spent my formative years in Asturias, Spain, and California. When I have some free time, I do freelance research and prep for my Library and Information Science course.



When I am not doing all of the above, I like reading, gardening, going to the movies, biking, hiking, karaoke, participating in cultural events and traveling.
