Natasha Patterson
I bring more than a decade of experience as a teacher, professor, instructional coach, and school leader to my work at Valencia College. My work as an educator covers a broad spectrum of roles and locales, including teaching elementary school in New Orleans, instructing college students as a speech professor in Orlando, and training new teachers in Phoenix. Most recently, I served as the School Director of UNO Rogers Park Charter School (K-8) in Chicago. Deeply committed to serving students in central Florida, I am inspired by the potential that a learning-centered institution, like Valencia College, has to transform the lives of students, particularly those who are first-generation college students. I earned a master's degree from Harvard University and the University of Florida and attained my bachelor's from Florida State University. I enjoy cheering on the 'Noles, traveling, running, exercising, and spending time with my family.
