Adjunct Instructor in Theatre

Bobbie Bell is an Orlando based writer, director, actor, composer, and teacher who has been involved in over a hundred professional, educational, and community performing arts productions from theatre to ballet in the past 30 years. Previous directing credits at Mad Cow Theatre include: THE BROTHERS SIZE, CLYBOURNE PARK, CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, THE PITMEN PAINTERS, THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING, THE CARETAKER, and A DELICATE BALANCE.. He has also performed with Mad Cow in YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, DANCING AT LUGHNASA, MACBETH, MAJOR BARBARA, LIFE IS A DREAM, and THE FANTASTICKS. He performed the role of Scrooge for three years at Theatre Downtown in A CHRISTMAS CAROL where he also performed in the plays QUILLS, NIGHT OF THE IGUANA, and WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOFL. With the Empty Spaces Company he performed in UBU ROI He is twice winner of the Florida Playwrights Competition for his plays: PASCUA DE FLORES and OF: A PLAY OF ARTEMIS. Valencia College has also produced his play ELBA, OHIO.
