Relevant Professional Experience:

Was Radiological Safety Officer for Task Group 7.2, Joint Task Force Seven during Operation Redwing, the largest atmospheric nuclear weapon test series the United States ever conducted. This performed at the Eniwetok Proving Ground in the Pacific on both Eniwetok and Bikini Atolls.

Served as the Radiological Warfare Expert on the Army Chemical Corps Briefing Team and was Chief of Effects Studies at the Army Radiological Warfare Laboratory.

Performed radiation measurements for some nuclear weapon tests at the Nevada Test Site during Operation Hardtack Phase Two.

Performed dosimetry for numerous biological experiments at The Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute. Also was Project Officer for the creation of the Cobalt-60 Irradiation Facility at the Institute.

Performed upper bound exposure estimates for persons and groups that had participated in nuclear weapons tests but had not had adequate dosimetry during their participation. These analyses were performed for the Nuclear Defense Agency and were used for determining the legal compensation, if any, for these persons having medical problems allegedly due to their participation in those nuclear tests.
