Ms. Susan Yawn
Associate Faculty Professor
I have been an adjunct faculty member at Valencia for more than 15 years, teaching many different courses in the field of Criminal Justice. Prior to teaching at Valencia, I spent about 3 years teaching part time at UCF.
I have a MSCJ from Rollins College, and a BA in Psychology from Southern Illinois University. After moving to Florida, I spent 35 years with the Florida Department of Corrections beginning as a Probation and Parole Officer. I retired from DC in 2010 and now devote my energies to teaching at Valencia.
