BS in Criminal Justice, Rollins College, Winter Park, Fl.
MS in Criminal Justice, UCF, Orlando, Fl.
Graduate of the FBI National Academy, Quantico, Va.

Professional Criminal Justice Career:
40 Year Law Enforcement Career including
25 years with the Orlando Police Department retiring as Deputy Chief of Police. 15 years as Chief of Police of the Mount Dora Police Department. Retired from Mount Dora in December, 2013.

Considerable experience in all aspects of law enforcement and the Criminal Justice System with multiple lengthy assignments, at all rank levels, operational, investigative, and administrative, during career.

Personal:
Married with 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. Taught for 5 years as Criminal Justice Adjunct Professor at Valencia before becoming full-time faculty member on the West Campus in the fall of 2013.
