Dr. Wael Yousif

Professor, Cybersecurity & Network Engineering Technology

Dr. Yousif is a tenured professor of Network Engineering Technology in the Division of Engineering, Computer Programming, and Technology. Dr. Yousif attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & Auditing, a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Systems, Network Security Concentration, and a Doctorate degree in Curriculum & Instruction. Dr. Yousif's research interests have been focused on Cybersecurity Intelligence Operations and Identity Management & Security. During Dr. Yousif's tenure at Valencia College, he has lectured on various topics including Routing and Switching, IP Telephony, Wireless Networks, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity. Dr. Yousif holds several industry certifications including the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI), Cisco Certified Network Professional (Routing), CompTIA Network +, Global Information Assurance Certified Firewall Analyst (GCFW), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), CompTIA Linux+, AWS Certifed Cloud Practitioner, and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH).
