Tammy Weaver, MHA/INF, RHIT, CCS, CMAA
Tammy Weaver has been teaching since 2010 as an Assistant Professor. Tammy has worked in the health information field since 1991. She is presently working on her doctorate in Healthcare Management and Leadership.
She has worked as a coordinator, quality management, release of information, and medical coding.
Tammy is a mentor to health information students affiliated with the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
She enjoys riding motorcycles during Daytona Beach race week, bike week and loves going to the beach. She is an FAA Remote Pilot (Drone) and a student pilot working toward her sports pilot license. She is also a referring realtor.
Tammy has one son who has completed his bachelor’s degree in journalism and owns his own business as a drone photographer.
