Yeidaliz Garcia Nieves
I have been working at Valencia for 4-years, teaching General Biology and Microbiology. I am also completing a program on medical communication, currently specializing in writing materials for continuing medical education. I am interested in promoting diversity and equity in science fields and strive to create a safe classroom environment to engage with course content fully. I love hearing students' success stories and hearing back from them after they finish the course.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Biotechnology and a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez.
Areas of research include biochemistry, virology, epidemiology, and genetics.
