Dr. Maura Gleeson

Maura Gleeson earned her Ph.D. in Art History from the University of Florida. Her primary field of research focuses on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century France, and her secondary field is in Latin American art. Her current work explores the connection between gender identity, aesthetic philosophy, and representations of the ‘self’ in Revolutionary and Napoleonic France.
