Andrea Brody

Professor of Emergency Medical Services

I joined Valencia in 1996. Prior to Valencia, I was a Flight Paramedic for ORHS AirCare Team, Shift Commander in Seminole County with Lifefleet Ambulance, and Field Supervisor for Sunstar in Pinellas County. I am also an ACLS, CPR, ATLS, PALS, ITLS, and NRP Instructor.

I am also a registered nurse and work primarily in the emergency room but occasionally I work ICU and surgery.

I lecture Internationally in Salerno Italy. I travel every 1-2 years to train physicians to be “street” doctors because they do not have paramedics on their ambulances. We train them in ACLS, CPR, ATLS, PALS, extrication and advance airway management. I travel with Dr. Tim Bullard, chief executive officer of ORHS and Dr. Sal Silvestris, Chief of Emergency Residency program and the Assistant Medical Director of Orange County. We made ourtenth trip last May.
