Celena Cutts

I am a native Floridian, born and raised in Miami. I have approximately 23 years of experience in the law enforcement field and currently hold law enforcement certifications in the states of Florida and Georgia. My experiences range from child abuse investigations, environmental crimes investigations, Medicaid/White Collar fraud, workman compensation/accident & injury investigations, to my most rewarding, supervising the Office of the Attorney General's statewide patient, abuse, neglect and exploitation (PANE) unit. In the PANE unit, I investigated allegations of doctors, nurses, and other health care workers committing crimes against Florida's elderly and/or disabled citizens. However, the bulk of my experience in Juvenile Justice comes from my current role as a Police Sergeant with the Orange County Public Schools District Police Department.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a Master's of Management degree in Public Administration, and a Master's of Education degree in Curriculum Development & Instruction. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Leadership and Management.

Besides my love for teaching, I enjoy gardening, traveling and taking care of my three children.

Happy Learning!
