Faculty FrontDoor

Christina Gillespie

I fell in love with mathematics and statistics as an undergraduate student. In my K-12 years of schooling, I always found math to be rather boring. In college, I had some wonderful professors that shared with me how beautiful mathematics are! I found myself taking more and more math classes, until one day I realized that I wanted to share my love of mathematics with others. So, here I am today. While my students do not always leave my classes with a love for mathematics, I hope that they gain an appreciation for the beauty of this discipline and leave without fearing their future math coursework.

BS Mathematics from East Tennessee State University
MS Degree in Applied Statistics from Pennsylvania State University

I am also a full-time student in the Methodology, Measurement, and Analysis PhD program at UCF.
