Chelsea Myers

Adjunct Professor

Chelsea Myers is an Orlando native and Boone High School alumna. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism in 2004 and Master of Statistics degree in 2006.

She taught mathematics and statistics at Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque before taking a position as a research biostatistician in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 2008 where she worked (in part remotely) until 2018.

She moved back to the Orlando area in the summer of 2014 and joined the mathematics faculty of the Valencia Winter Park Campus in the summer of 2015.

Professor Myers also teaches Biostatistics and Data Analytics at Rollins College and Applied Statistics for STEM for Southern New Hampshire University. She is the author of the forthcoming textbook Statistics: A Project Based Approach Using R in progress with Taylor and Francis.

Her husband, Dr. Daniel Myers, is a professor of computer science at Rollins College. They have 3 sons.
