Daniela Johnson

Mathematics Professor

I am originally from Romania. I used to live in Cluj, a beautiful city in Transylvania, a place that I miss and love.
I graduated in 1991 from Babes-Bolyai University with a Masters’ of Science in Mathematics. I taught Computer Sciences and Programming in Romania for 13 years and Mathematics in US for almost 11 years now. I moved to Savannah, GA in 2006 and I started teaching full-time at Savannah Technical College shortly after my relocation. I had five great years there and I made wonderful friends.

I started teaching at Valencia College as a Mathematics professor in August 2011. I enjoyed my first five years here and I am looking forward to working with my students and discovering together the beauty of Mathematics. I earned tenure in 2014 and I am happy to call Valencia home.
