Dr. Eddie Santoyo

Hello!

My name is Eddie Santoyo and I am originally from Lima, Peru where I studied and received my bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing. I have always had a passion for the sciences as well as helping others which started my journey in the Health Care Industry. I completed my science prerequisites here at Valencia College and graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UCF (Go Knights!). During my time at Valencia, I was a science tutor helping my peers in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I enjoyed my time at Valencia College as a student and as a tutor and am now returning as a professor to teach Anatomy and Physiology.

I currently work as a Physical Therapist at an Orthopedic outpatient clinic. I love being a PT as we have many ways to help our patients feel better, become healthier and prevent disability. My goal for the future is to open my own PT clinic.

I enjoy living a healthy life-style and working out at the gym is my passion. I have two labs whom I love and enjoy playing with them in the pool.

Here is a link from an article done by UCF about my journey through the Doctorate Program for a little more information about my background:
