Homaira Parchamy Araghy

Physics Visiting Professor
Homaira Parchamy

Ph.D. from the Department of Energy and Environmental Science, Utsunomiya University, Japan.

I have worked in many different topic areas, including laser-matter interaction science and its applications, the EUV source for next generation semiconductor lithography, short wavelength laser, THz source, and ultrashort femtosecond laser.

I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Energy and Environmental Science, Graduate School of Engineering at Utsunomiya University, Japan. After graduation, I worked as a Research Associate at the National Institute for Fusion Science, and Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan. I worked as Assistant Professor at Plasma Physics Research Center Azad University Tehran, where I continued my research and taught Physics | and || courses. In 2011, I immigrated to USA. Since 2011, I have continued my research on laser-matter interaction, advanced optical metrology, and plasma VUV/EUV/X-ray light source technology. Meantime I have taught Physics. I worked as a Research Scientist in the Laser Plasma Laboratory, College of Optics and Photonics, University of Central Florida (UCF). For more information regarding any work, please feel free to contact me directly. The best route to contact me is via my Valencia email.
