Isabella Stryker-Jackson

As a graduate from the Masters of Liberal Studies program, at Rollins College; where I also received my Bachelors of Arts with a major in Humanities and minor in Anthropology, the education I received has greatly expanded my horizons and made me more globally aware as a person. My experiences have given me the confidence and understanding that anything is possible with the eagerness to learn and will to succeed.

Teaching is not just a job for me, it is a passion. When I am standing in front of a classroom, no matter what the setting, I know I have my students’ attention when they are hanging on to the words that I am saying. In the end, if I am able to reach one student and impact their life or way of thinking, then I have done my job. The challenge to teaching is finding which method best suits the student to optimize their learning.
