Jacob Davis

Adjunct Professor of Economics

I am very excited to be teaching economics here at Valencia. I attended the University of Central Florida for undergraduate and Oregon State University for graduate school. My specialty is in microeconomics and econometrics (a fancy name for statistics applied through an economic lens) and I have researched endangered species conservation and worked on litigation stemming from the financial crisis.

I teach economics because I am truly passionate about the material and because I believe that everyone can benefit from a better understanding of economics.

When I am not teaching I can be found working, going to the movie theater, or playing videogames.
