Jean Marie Fuhrman

Professor of English, Reading, & Humanities

WHAT I TEACH:
Currently I teach English classes and humanities courses--online, hybrid, and F-2-F.

MY PHILOSOPHY:
My personal philosophy is "... creating goodness...." I think of this life-orientation as a fragment because it is meant to be attached to whatever I do; the verb ends in "ing" because it's an on-going process; and the noun starts with lower-case "g" because it's not grandiose, but rather seeks to be present in small and sundry ways.

FIVE HOBBIES I PRACTICE:
1. Writing a fashion blog for WW
2. Reading--books, people, clouds, and more. . .
3. Memorizing poetry
4. Writing fairy tales, essays, and more . . .
5. Swimming

Please check your syllabus.

Please e-mail me through our Canvas class: No textbook is required for Comp 1 or Comp 2. However, if you were to pick up a handbook for writers, you would be ahead of the game.
