Dr. Jennifer Keefe

Associate Professor of Humanities, Lake Nona Campus

I am a Professor of Humanities at the Lake Nona Campus. I started teaching at the College in 2008 and taught at the Winter Park Campus before moving to the Lake Nona Campus in 2011. I also served as the Lake Nona Campus activities coordinator for the Peace and Justice Institute from 2011 until PJI left the College in 2022.

I also work as a Project Manager for a Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI) grant at UCF and help build programs for transfer students.

I previously served as Project Director for a Title V HSI grant at the Valencia College Osceola Campus from 2016 to 2020. That grant specialized in expanding our career and technical programs (AS degrees and certificates) here at Valencia.

I hold a Doctorate in Higher Education Policy Studies from UCF, a Master of Liberal Studies from Rollins College in Winter Park, and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Florida. I worked in both the radio and television industries for more than 14 years before becoming a professor at Valencia in 2008. I also taught English at Lake Howell High School in Seminole County.
