Dr. Jennifer Robertson

Executive Dean, Poinciana Campus

Dr. Jennifer Robertson is currently the Executive Dean at Valencia College’s Poinciana campus in Kissimmee, FL. Originally from New Hampshire, Dr. Robertson has lived in Spain, Mexico, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico where she owned and operated a language school for seven years. As an employee with Valencia College for almost 20 years now, Dr. Robertson’s previous positions included director of Valencia’s Study Abroad and Global Experiences office, executive director of the Florida Consortium for International Education (FCIE), and director of Continuing Education. Dr. Robertson has published a several articles and a book chapter related to global learning and study abroad as international education has been a long-term passion of hers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of New Hampshire, and an MBA and EdD in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Robertson is fluent in Spanish and speaks some Portuguese. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, ages 23 and 17, and she runs, cycles, and does CrossFit to commit to a healthy lifestyle. She also has two beagles (Lucy and Bravo).
