Head Advisor Alpha Gamma Omega, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

Jennifer Taylor first took Humanities as a junior in high school. She fell in love with the study. By age 19, she was determined to obtain a Ph.D. and teach. Her route took her from Brevard Community College to UCF with a BA in Humanities, Summa cum Laude, to FSU with an MA in Classical Civilizations, to Pacifica Graduate Institute in California with an MA/Ph.D. in Mythological Studies with a Depth Psychological Emphasis.

She is passionate about the humanities, travel, the environment, sustainability, yoga, reading, the Big Bang Theory (tv show) and living in harmony with the Earth and each other.

She traveled to Nepal and India on a Buddhist pilgrimage for her sabbatical during the Spring 2015 semester. She recently traveled to India over the 2016-2017 winter break with seven other college professors visiting Delhi, Varanasi (and the holy Ganges), Agra (and the Taj Mahal), Khajuraho, and Bhopal (to see the Great Stupa at Sanchi.)
