Kaylin Evans

Adjunct Professor

I completed my undergrad degree at Florida Southern College in Art History. I decided to take a year and a half off before completing my Masters, so I moved to Los Angeles where I volunteered to work at Los Angeles County Museum of Art. After I was accepted to Florida State University’s Art History program, I returned to Florida. In 2008, I completed my Masters in Art History, and a Masters Certificate in Museum Studies. I have had the privilege to teach at Valencia since Fall of 2010. Currently, I teach Art History 1, Art History 2, World Mythology, and Intro to Humanities on East Campus and Lake Nona Campus.

While I love teaching, I do not seat at home grading on a Friday night. During the week, I play on a back-to-back champion kickball team, and we are in position to take number one again this winter. Also, I have started Salsa lessons with some of my friends.

I am looking forward to many more years with Valencia and inspiring students to take Humanities and Arts seriously.
