I am an East Carolina University graduate and have been a law enforcement officer for over 18 years. I work as a detective/Master Police Officer in the Special Victims Unit at Orlando Police Department. I have a masters degree in Criminal Justice from UCF and have taught with Valencia College since 2010. I am actively involved with bettering the services law enforcement officers can provide to citizens. I am actively engaged with several different organizations to include the Peace and Justice Institute and Zebra Coalition. I enjoy reading, spending time with family, and learning something new each day. I will challenge you to push yourselves to the next level in your education path. I teach Introduction to Criminology, Report Writing (Capstone), Controversial Issues in Criminal Justice, and Introduction to Criminal Justice. I also teach Ethics, Criminal Law and Criminal Investigations.
