Manny Ramos

Professor of Nursing

Manny Ramos is a professor of nursing with over 30 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing, adult critical care, long-term care, rehabilitation, and nursing administration. He provides both classroom and clinical instruction in the nursing program. He received his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Philippines. Prof. Ramos is the Philippine Nurses Association of America (PNAA) Vice President for the South Central Region. This professional organization promotes nursing leadership, professional growth, and service to the community. He is the director of the iLDP, PNAA's leadership development program, which has produced over 100 iLDP Fellows. Prof. Ramos is a past president of the Philippine Nurses Association of Central Florida and serves as their Executive Director. He is a member of the Nursing Action Coalition of Florida, working to advance policy leadership, diversify nursing, transform education, and strengthen interprofessional collaboration and multisector partnering. Prof. Ramos is pursuing his Doctor of Nursing Practice at William Paterson University in New Jersey through distance education.
