Michele Rudden

Hi, I am Professor Rudden. (Rhymes with sudden). I have over eighteen years of experience teaching, including English and Criminal Justice courses. I graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida with both my Bachelors and Masters in English. I also have a J.D. from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. I have participated in 2 conference poster presentations on student writing/study habits, including the FSCJ 25th International Conference on Teaching, co-authored 1 in-school study on students understanding assignment instructions, and written 1 in-school article on Frederick Douglass, and 1 narrative story. (See below).
I currently live in the sunny Southern United States. I love to travel and have been fortunate to see parts of the United States, mostly the East Coast. I can't wait to visit the ones I've missed.

As your instructor, my commitment includes providing you with an exceptional education, one that will encourage you to implement many of the classroom activities in your career. In order to provide the most effective teaching and learning environment, I will provide timely substantive feedback. All written assignments will be returned to you within seven days following the assignment submission. Additionally, I will regularly engage in discussion postings in order to ensure an optimal learning environment. Finally, please know that I encourage you to contact me via Bb Messages, post, or email if you do not have access to Blackboard, and I will reply within 48 hours.
