Dr. Nateshia Williams

I was born in Durham, North Carolina. I was very active throughout school. I developed a love for Science at an early age. I loved Science Fairs and reading. My mom was a teacher so I took school and learning very seriously. I decided to attend North Carolina Central University which is also in Durham, North Carolina where I received my degree in Biology. I then decided that I wanted to be a doctor and decided to research different types of physicians. I decided to become a Chiropractic Physician and moved to Marietta, Georgia to pursue those dreams. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Life University in Marietta, Ga. This is where I met my husband. We have been married for 15 years and I have a 8 year old son and 11 year old daughter. We moved to Florida in 2005. I have been practicing since 2005. I felt that I was still missing something. I realized that it was my love for Science and Biology so I started teaching at Valencia in 2006 and I love it. I love teaching the students and trying to make learning fun. I had a lot of Professors that tried to purposely make Science harder than it has to be. I believe that people who major in Science become nurses, doctors, teachers and take on other important roles in society so we should encourage a great love for Science and learning in general.
