I choose to live life in a positive way, Teaching is my passion! My philosophy is to seek to do what you love to do. Be kind to everyone for you know not the burdens they may carry. I am here to help my students grow academically and to help them become strong writers with superb close reading skills.

My love for writing and literature led to my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Journalism and English from the University of Central Florida. I earned my Master's degree, and I have taught literature, writing, and English in the Orlando area for several years where my students consistently earn outstanding scores on their reading and writing scores.

It is exciting to teach at Valencia! I am honored to work with the calibre of professors and students here. I look forward to an outstanding semester!
