Ralf Jenne

Professor of Humanities

Born and raised in Germany, Professor Jenne’s undergraduate work at the University of Constance (Germany) focused on philosophy and comparative literature. He completed a master’s degree in philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh where his interests included 20th century analytic philosophy and philosophy of language.

He has been teaching at Valencia College for more than ten years and currently teaches Ethics & Critical Thinking (PHI2600) and Philosophy (PHI2010). He is fully convinced that the study of philosophy is unique in developing the broad intellectual competence that is indispensable for navigating life in the 21st century.
