Prof Scott Richardson

Adjunct Faculty

With almost three decades of experience in the hotel, restaurant, and hospitality industries, both in the back of the house (Chef) and front of the house (General Manager), I tie into my courses experiential learning, critical thinking, and opportunities to learn from other professionals, through inviting guest speakers to the classroom.

I have 12 years of academic instruction experience at Valencia College. Additionally, I teach at the University of Central Florida at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management in the areas of Restaurant Management.

I have 8 years of online teaching experience beginning with the University of Phoenix. I currently teach online and develop curriculum at Johnson and Wales University (Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and other hospitality-related courses), New England Culinary Institute (Food and Wine Pairing, Advanced Culinary Techniques, and Restaurant Operations Management).

I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Central Florida/Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
