Chief Thomas Hickman

Battalion Chief with Orange County Fire Rescue after 32 years of Service USAR Task Force Leader deployed to Mississippi for hurricane Katrina. Member of Special Operations Team and versed in all rescue disciplines. including extrication, rope rescue, building collapse, confined space, hazardous materials, trench rescue, dive. and weapons of mass destruction. I have taught at VCC as an adjunct instructor for over 20 years with both the EMT and Paramedic programs. I also served with the Air Care Team at ORMC as a flight medic with their Helicopter program. I have been a state of Florida paramedic since 1979.
