OBJECTIVE:
To create a safe and caring classroom
environment that promotes student achievement.

GOALS:
To ensure student achievement by building self-esteem, and helping students attain their goals necessary to succeed.

VISION:
My educational philosophy is that all students can learn and achieve despite their circumstances.

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS:
I graduated from the University of Maryland in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management. I received a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix in 2003, and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from NOVA Southeastern University in 2008. I began my teaching career after a 15-year span in the telecommunications/technology industry. I bring a wealth of knowledge about the application of mathematics in the real world to the classroom. I enjoy working with students, and I was nominated Who’s Who Among Americas Teachers in 2006. I also received the Award in Excellence in Teaching from Valencia Winter Park Campus in 2010.
