Dr. Wael Yousif

Professor/Chair, Network Engineering Technology

Dr. Yousif is a tenured professor of Network Engineering Technology in the Division of Engineering, Computer Programming, and Technology. Dr. Yousif attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Auditing, a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Systems(MIS), and a Doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction. His research interests are focused on designing models of instructional systems for blended learning. During Dr. Yousif's tenure at Valencia College, he has lectured on various topics including Routing and Switching, IP Telephony, Wireless LANs, Virtualization Technology, and Cybersecurity. Dr. Yousif holds several industry certifications including the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI), Cisco Certified Network Professional (Routing), CompTIA Network +, Global Information Assurance Certified Firewall Analyst (GCFW), and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH). Dr. Yousif also serves as the Chair for the Network Engineering Technology program.
