Media Law and Popular Culture
Course Description An introductory examination of the influences and effects of media (film, news, television and Internet) and media messages on our understanding of law and popular culture as well as on human behavior in general. This course will explore major historical decisions, such as legal decisions and political campaigns, and examine the influence the media may have had on them and on our human ability to interpret reality.
