LABORATORY ASSIGNMENTS:

 

Lab Exercises: “Reviewing Your Knowledge” Exercises are due the following Tuesday in class. This assignment is worth 5 points. The correct answers will be available during the break.  If you are not on time you will only receive 3 points for the assignment.

 

 Lab Quizzes:   A lab quiz will be given at the beginning of each lab. If you are late, you may make up the quiz, but you will only receive up to 8 points for the make-up quiz. Each quiz will be 5 questions from Reviewing Your Knowledge” from the previous lab equaling 10 points toward your lab grade. 

 

If the “Review Your Knowledge” is late or the quiz is taken late, two points will be deducted from the possible grade.

 

Each lab assigned will be 5 pts.  Therefore, your total lab grade for each week will be 20 points. No late work is accepted, and you must be present for the complete lab for your lab exercise grade to be counted.

 

Lab Practicals:   Two laboratory practicals will be administered during the term. The practicals will contain information from the materials viewed and questions completed during each lab exercise. If you are late to a lab practical, you will not be permitted to answer the questions you missed and there is NO MAKE UP TEST.


Important Note:
Lab Quizzes are given at the beginning of each lab. Quiz material is taken from the “Reviewing your Knowledge” sections at the end of the exercises performed during the lab. The “Reviewing your Knowledge” sections will be checked at the beginning of class the following Tuesday.  This information, is provided for you at the end of the Lab Direction sheets for each lab.

 

Required Attendance: If you miss more than two labs you will be withdrawn from the class.
