Grading: Homework is suggested but not graded. We will go over it at the beginning of each class. There will be 4 tests plus a final exam. Each test will count as 20% of your grade. The final exam is 20%.
No tests are dropped.
A passing grade is ‘C’ (70).
No extra credit.
How to Behave: Please put your cell phone on silent before class, don’t bring food inside class (drinks okay), and don’t talk during class. Thank You.
Attendance: If you miss more than 3 classes, you will be dropped from the class and then would receive a grade of W. If this happens after the withdraw deadline (check the calendar) you'll get an F.
Students with Disabilities: Students with disabilities who qualify for academic accommodations must provide a Notification to Instructor (NTI) form from the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) and discuss specific needs with the professor, preferably during the first two weeks of class. The Office for Students with Disabilities determines accommodations based on appropriate documentation of disabilities."
