David Marchetti

Electronics Engineering Technology Adjunct Professor

I started my engineering career as an electronic technician at Walt Disney World. In this role, I was responsible for troubleshooting and repairing attraction equipment and systems. After receiving my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from UCF, I moved into a Sustaining Engineering position at Walt Disney World. In this role, I assisted with attraction system design, obsolescence, and reliability. I continued my engineering career working for Northrop Grumman (DOD) as a Reliability Engineer. After receiving my Masters in Electrical Engineering from UF, I pursued a position with Lockheed Martin as an analog/digital designer. I continue to work for Lockheed Martin (DOD) to this day. I look forward to helping Valencia College students pursue their own exciting career.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing the electric guitar.
