Dr. Eric A. Brown

Director of Agronomy, Massey Services, Inc.

Eric A. Brown, Ph.D., is Director of Agronomy and Quality Assurance Manager for Massey Services responsible for technical training. He earned his Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Florida’s Soil and Water Science Department, specializing in soil and plant relationships and environmental stewardship. He is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist and received certification from the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences in Landscape Palm Management. In 2013 was designated as a Certified Irrigation Landscape Auditor by the Irrigation Association. Duties include research and testing to ensure healthy vigorous landscapes that help protect our environment.

Dr. Brown has published articles on managing urban landscapes, black layer in soils, soil pH testing, and fertigation. He has taught environmental science courses at Santa Fe College, Rollins College, and Valencia College.

Certifications include Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Certified Pest Control Operator in Fumigation, General Household Pest and Rodent Control, Lawn and Ornamental, Termite and Other Wood Destroying Organisms.
