Kathie Larke, MSN, MA, RN, CNE

Kathie Larke earned Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University and went on to earn a Master of Nursing Education from the University of Hartford. She was selected for Sigma Theta Tau, the nursing honor society, while earning a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Connecticut.

Professor Larke has over 35 years of clinical and classroom teaching experience in the areas of medical/surgical nursing, mental health care, long term and rehabilitative nursing.

She has held certification in several specialty areas and recently completed the National League of Nursing Certification in Nursing Education exam.

She has provided classroom and clinical education to ASN students in CT and FL for over 20 years, and has taught RN-BSN students online.

In her spare time, Professor Larke provides content development to a nationally known test preparation company. She loves to travel the world, relish her Irish heritage and drink tea.

Professor Larke is currently teaching Adult Health 1.
