Mr. Mark Webster

Business Adjunct Professor

Mark Webster is Director of Tax Roll Services at the Orange County Property Appraiser's office in Orlando, Florida. With over 23 years of experience in the private and public sectors, Mark is a seasoned professional in customer service, team building, public speaking, management, and leadership.

Mark's public-sector career began in 2007 as a Tax Roll Specialist. In spring 2013, Mark was promoted to Manager of Customer Service, and later in April 2017, he was promoted to Manager of Exemptions and Tax Roll Administration. In 2022, he was appointed Director of Tax Roll Services.

As Director, Mark oversees a team of 33 team members in 4 divisions, Constituent Services, Deeds & Research, Exemptions, and Tax Roll. His team audits nearly 500,000 Exemption Applications, post over a quarter of a million deeds, and qualify over 45,000 sale transactions each year.

Mark is responsible for the analysis and quality assurance of the annual Orange County tax roll, the fourth-largest tax roll in Florida. Additionally, Mark presents to groups throughout Orange County on behalf of the Orange County Property Appraiser on topics ranging from property-based tax exemptions, Florida's property tax system, tax calculation, the agency website, and map site demonstrations.

Mark is an adjunct business professor at Valencia College, serving as a subject matter expert providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the business world.

When not working, Mark enjoys reading, diving, running marathons, traveling, and personal home improvement projects.
