Dr. Warren Evans - General Surgery

Professor of Emergency Medical Services

I was first introduced to Valencia College in 2008 when I attended the emergency medicine program and obtained my paramedic certificate. I continued my education with Valencia, subsequently earning my A.S. in Emergency Medical Services followed by my A.A. in general studies. I served as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the city of Apopka for nine years. Transferring to University of Central Florida in 2014, I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Molecular/Micro Biomedical Sciences through the Burnett College of Medicine. My teaching philosophy is in alignment with Valencia's learning centered model, where I strive to engage my students in a manner that enlightens their will to learn independently.

I am currently a general surgery resident physician focused on trauma and critical care. I plan to complete a fellowship in surgical critical care after completion of my residency.
