Functional IS Specialist for Allied Health and Nursing
I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from University of Central Florida in 1996 and my M.S. in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in 2008.In 2012 I added a graduate certificate in Psychology. I earned an Master of Professional Studies with a focus on Public Health in 2018.I am an experienced Educational Technologist and Florida Certified Professional Educator and Administrator. I have been working at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida since March of 2007.
For nearly a decade, and before making the transition to higher education I taught K-12 as both a classroom teacher and technology resource teacher.
As the Allied Health and Nursing IS Specialist I guide instructional technology for all areas of the Allied Health and Nursing programs on two campuses at Valencia. In 2013 I graduated from the Leadership Academy (now known as Pivot 180) and I also serve on the Agricultural Advisory Board in Orange County, Florida.
I am married with four children. (the youngest is the only girl). I'm also involved in the men's ministry through my church.
