Isabelle Marcellus
Isabelle Marcellus started her journey at Valencia College in May 2019 as an Academic Advisor serving General Education students. This role came after more than 5 years of working in Healthcare Administration in various roles, and she was ready for a change.
After advising students for approximately 3 years, she started her leadership journey and supervised the Testing and Assessment Center. She has experience supporting students with limited English proficiency, transfer students, Dual Enrollment students and other specific populations. She is a first-generation college student and pursued her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership with a focus in English to pursue her dream of teaching at the collegiate level.
While working as the Manager of Learning Support Services she has gained an even better understanding of the student experience. She is dedicated to advocating for students and understanding how to provide the needed resources for their success. When she is not in the classroom she facilitates leadership programs and workshops to engage her colleagues in learning as well.
